We are learning Tudor dancing, to incorporate our topic work into our P.E lessons. It is quite complicated and the music is unusual but Miss Elsmore gives us lots of help and encouragement. Soon we will have perfected it!

For the Christmas fair, Year 5 made Christmas stockings. We sewed two sock shapes together, using blanket stitch. Year 5 then decorated the stockings with glitter, ribbon and sequins, and beads. We sold all of them, for £2.50 each.

The new Year 5's have really enjoyed their first few days in the new building. Today they had a visit from Henry VIII who has been teaching them all about his life. Photos to follow.

On Monday 9th September, Henry VIII came to visit us. He gave a talk about his life and his six wives, and then we took part in lots of fun activities. We did jousting and dancing in the hall, and made ruffs. It was fantastic! Lots of us dressed up too! The photographs will be uploaded next...
